Make it Count
There is no better time to build your foundation than in your youth. While most students pass through high school and college giving little thought to their future, others use the time to prepare them for what they would like to do in the future. Even if you are unsure about which career direction you would like to pursue, you can still make the most of your HS/College experience by getting involved with clubs and organizations that interest you. Once the years of your youth are passed, you will have a difficult time finding the hours in a day to explore your interests. The best time to do so is now- while you are young. So, join those clubs, get involved with your life and make it what you would like it to be. You will get what you want out of life, if you invest in your future. Figure out who you are and throw your insecurities to the wind. Those who end up enjoying their adult life are the ones who decided to follow their own path and be themselves.

Optimal Organization
Managing life’s details can seem overwhelming but it doesn’t have to be that way. You want to be organized. You have good intentions. You know that it would save you time, money and trouble if you were but you don’t know where to start. The key to being optimally organized is to have a system of organization that works for you and fits well into your lifestyle, so that you will follow through with the steps it takes to succeed. The best type of system is one that is based on your values and allows you to take care of your priorities first. Try developing a system that seems to fit you and adjust it daily until it works well for you. Believe me, being organized will help you to manage many more details than you were able to before, without becoming overwhelmed.

Who Cares What They Think?
You are original. No matter how much you try to become like someone else you will always be you. Instead of worrying about what other people think about you, your skills, your appearance or anything else, why not spend your time and energy developing yourself, in all of your uniqueness? When you are young it is easy to get caught up in the trend of the moment. "Who is doing what? What's going on? Where is everyone going to be this weekend?" But how much of an impact is that going to have on your future? The answer is little to none. So instead of thinking about what "they" think is important, spend your time thinking about what you think is important. You are the only one who knows what is important to you!

There is no better you, than YOU!
You have just what it takes to be the BEST you! Only you can do exactly what you do in the way you do it. There is no one who can make your unique mark on the world, think the way that you do and help someone just the way you do. I know it seems obvious that you are the best "you" but so many of us think that we could be better if we were someone else. We, as a society, spend hours trying to look like someone else, talk like someone else and think like someone else so that we can have what someone else has. We assume that everyone else has a better life, a better job and better friends. We think that they are happier because they are better in some way. The reality is that everyone has strengths and weaknesses and those who are the most satisfied with their life, realize that they should try to be the best person that they can be in their own way. So, who are you? What are your unique talents, interests, qualities and characteristics? What are your strengths and weaknesses? List out your strengths and work on being the best that you can be! You are unique and you can be the best "you" that anyone has ever seen. Live up to your potential and start today!
